1. Data we collect

FriPos is a restaurant POS.
We collect only what the service needs: (1) the shop's own business data — menu, items, orders, bills, sales, tables — kept while the shop uses the service;
if the shop stops being used, deleted after 60 days (shops with sales on 3 days or fewer) or after 12 months (shops with sales on 4 days or more);
(2) staff names and shop-defined PINs, for login, time-clock and payroll;
(3) time-clock photos taken at clock-in/out, kept 45 days as attendance evidence, then deleted automatically;
(4) payment-slip photos, kept 60 days, then deleted automatically;
(5) menu/food photos the shop takes, kept until the shop deletes them;
(6) device diagnostics (device model, app version, printing status) to fix printing and stability issues;
(7) the PromptPay ID the shop registers itself (a phone number or national ID number), used only to generate the shop's payment QR, kept until the shop deletes it.

2. What we do not do

We do not sell any data. We do not collect device location (GPS). Sales data belongs to the shop; we use it only to provide the service.

3. Transfer & storage

Data is transferred over HTTPS/TLS and stored on our servers. Shops using offline mode keep primary data on their own device, with cloud backup according to the shop's settings.
The FriPos app keeps up to 400 days of sales records on the device. Older records that have reached our servers are removed from the device automatically (they stay on our servers as described in section 1); records not yet sent are never removed from the device. Payment-slip photos are not kept on the device once they reach our servers, and the device keeps at most the latest 40 time-clock photos.
Menu photos uploaded for automatic menu reading are processed by an AI provider (Anthropic) solely to convert the photo into menu items; they are not used for any other purpose.
